Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Safal, a community where ambitious students, founders, creatives, and professionals come together to reimagine what progress looks like. By registering for and attending the Safal Summit (the “Event”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

Safal,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to Safal and its organizing team.

Attendee,” “you,” or “your” refers to the individual or organization registering for or participating in the Event.

Event” means the Safal Summit, including all keynotes, panels, sessions, workshops, networking opportunities, and any related in-person or virtual activities organized by Safal.

2. Registration and Tickets

  • Attendance at the Event requires valid registration and, where applicable, payment of any associated fees.

  • Tickets or registrations are generally non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by Safal in writing or through our registration platform.

  • Any refund or cancellation options will be governed by the refund policy communicated at the time of ticket purchase or registration. If no refund policy is specified, all sales are considered final.

3. Participation and Conduct

  • Attendees agree to participate in the Event in a respectful, professional, and inclusive manner.

  • Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or any conduct that creates an unsafe or uncomfortable environment for others is not permitted.

  • Safal reserves the right to remove any Attendee from the Event (without refund) for behavior that we, in our sole discretion, deem inappropriate, unsafe, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Fees and Payment

  • All ticket fees and related charges (if any) will be clearly outlined at the time of registration.

  • Payment must be made in full and successfully processed in order to confirm your attendance.

  • If payment is declined, incomplete, or revoked, Safal may cancel or deny your registration.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All Event content—including presentations, slides, workshop materials, recordings, graphics, branding, and other intellectual property—remains the property of Safal, the speakers, or other respective rights holders, unless otherwise stated.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit Event content without prior written permission from Safal and/or the relevant content owner.

  • Personal note-taking for your own use and limited sharing on social media (e.g., quotes, photos of slides) is allowed, provided you:

    • Credit Safal and/or the speaker where appropriate, and

    • Do not disclose confidential or sensitive information or misrepresent the content.

6. Media Release

  • By attending the Event (in person or virtually), you acknowledge and agree that photographs, videos, and audio recordings may be taken by Safal or its partners.

  • You grant Safal a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and publish such media—including your image, likeness, and/or voice—for promotional, educational, and archival purposes (e.g., social media, website, recap materials), without further notice or compensation.

  • If you have serious concerns about being recorded or photographed, please notify Safal in advance or speak with a member of the Safal team at the Event. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all media.

7. Confidentiality

  • The Event may include discussions where Attendees share personal experiences, project ideas, or other sensitive information.

  • Safal encourages all participants to respect the privacy and confidentiality of fellow Attendees. However, Safal cannot control or guarantee how other Attendees will use or share information disclosed during the Event.

  • Any obligation to maintain confidentiality rests with each individual Attendee. If you share sensitive information, you do so at your own discretion and risk.

8. Liability

  • Your participation in the Event is voluntary and at your own risk.

  • Safal is not responsible for any personal injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to personal property that may occur during travel to/from or attendance at the Event.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Safal’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Event is limited to the amount of the ticket fee (if any) paid by you for the Event.

9. Event Changes and Cancellation

  • Safal reserves the right to make changes to the Event program, schedule, format, speakers, or venue at any time.

  • In the unlikely event that the Event is postponed, moved to a virtual format, or canceled, Safal will communicate any available options (such as refunds, credits, or transfer of registration) in line with the policy in effect at that time.

  • Except where required by law, our liability in the case of Event cancellation is limited to a refund of the ticket fees (if any) paid to Safal for the Event.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Event or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in United States.
